Circumcision is the surgical removal of the foreskin, ie the final part of the skin, covering the glans. It is done for hygiene, religious or medical reasons such as in the case of Phimosis and Paraphimosis.
Phimosis is the condition where the foreskin closes completely for some reason and the glans is not revealed, while in Paraphimosis this is very difficult to be done and possibly very painful. It is understood that Phimosis and Paraphimosis make sexual intercourse difficult, proper cleaning of the area is not possible and the patient is often confronted with both skin and urinary tract infections. It is no coincidence that circumcised men have zero penile cancer rates while their partners have very low rates of cervical cancer.

Laser circumcision without any pain

Circumcision at our institute is bloodlessly performed with a LASER technique. Local 2-stage anesthesia is required so that the patient does not feel any pain at all. Minimal and absorbable sutures are placed while painkillers are optional. Recovery is short and well tolerated without restricting the patient from his / her normal activities.

The method is particularly gentle and can be safely performed in patients receiving anticoagulation.

Of course, for those who want it, circumcision can be done by the Doctor and the Hospital we work with, using general anesthesia.
